Saturday we went to visit The Vizcaya Museum, a gem in the middle of Miami. Vizcaya is the perfect place to have picnics, read a book, relax… I can’t believe I rarely see young people there… mostly old couples and tourists. The Museum serves tea in the garden every Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, don’t miss it 😉

I have received a lot of emails asking me who are my favorite designers, the truth is that I am not crazy about any particular designer, but I do love well constructed pieces, of the best materials, and that fit my taste… I loved this J.crew dress! the moment I entered the store it had to be mine… the fit is perfect, and the oversized polka dots give the classic print a contemporary twist.

As I said before, the Museum is amazing, however, I was really saddened to see mountains of trash in the woods next to the bay. It made me think a lot about how detached we are to trash. When we dispose of something we detach ourselves from the waste thinking it will travel far away, but in reality a big part of it comes floating back to us… take a look at this picture and tell me if it doesn’t make you sad:
